@Hvedhrungr: Thats strange.. If I try to buy the same app twice it says "You have already purchased this app so this download will be free"

@geolemon: Face/Object recognition would be ideal, however, since they haven't already implemented it with the front facing camera, I figured they weren't planning on it (unfortunately)
@headc4se: As per your article.. the first release of LTE is more like a 3.9G network, which I rounded up to 4G... However, with the speeds Verizon is attaining, I definitely should not have rounded up, because they're nowhere near 4G spec speeds.. So you're right. But with the current networks verizon is the closest…
@geolemon: Ah, well that I can agree with you on. Apple definitely doesn't like to concede to anything that they didn't develop themselves until they have to. So yes, Google will get the advantage if they roll this out. (one thing to point out about Android overtaking iPhone/stagnant iPhone growth last year - I…
You Americans need a company that is not going to lie to you just to make a sale.
@SpongeFreak52: They already support HSPA+ with the upload at 5.xxmbps (to support 3G FaceTime) they just need to up the download speed for full support.
@ripfire: I think a commercial that debunks the 4G lies of all the other networks might be more effective than lying themselves?
@StormtrooperJoe: LTE is one type of 4G. LTE is the Long Term Evolution of the GSM standard and can achieve fixed speeds of 1Gbit/s and will give end users speeds of 100Mbit/s (approximately 5 times faster than todays "4G" at 21Mbit/s
@geolemon: Well, I wouldn't call it a matter of days (since it's years), but as you said thats a whole separate (irrelevant) discussion...
@geolemon: get your facts together before you make your claims... 4G has not been launched yet... more than 2 years since the iPhone 3G.
@Tyre: I was about to say the same thing... 4G hasn't even launched yet and iPhone 3G has been out over 2 years...
@johnnyabnormal: I'm a web developer and recently my buddy approached me asking me... "how do you program?" (I'm sure you know thats quite the question..) Anyway, the info he really wanted was how do you program music, he wants to get into making video and game music and he heard that it is usually just 'programmed'..…
@johnnyabnormal: indeed they are. I also noticed you guys give each other a lot of work?
@johnnyabnormal: sick stuff dude. autofuss = creepy
@CrispyAardvark: you have a 55" inch, lightweight, portable TV in your kitchen? Where do I get one?
@rentahero1: as joel pointed out.. it's likely polarizing the light before it leaves the TV set, so technically there is no loss in the brightness of what you see, however, there is still a loss in the brightness that the backlight is capable of.
@bombastinator: I think they probably took the easy route, not actually turning on the vacuum for the photo op, rather than trying to find a deaf dog...
@dotCARBON: Oh, makes sense... It looks like a really sleek and thin glass top tablet display because it's so shiny.. It looked like it had 3 windows open, a drawing surface and than two tool panels on the side... So it got me drooling... but nvm.. just a plain old drawing surface.
anyone know the model of the tablety gadget being used here is?
@Agrippa: It's not hard to find out...
