I’d bet that some herb or other suggested going that route.

Honestly, I’m twice as excited to check it out knowing how whiny all the low-key “I’m not racist, I just hate change” racists are getting.

Mild digression: Superhero Movie was actually kind of fun and underrated (and not made by the same folks who made Epic Movie, Date Movie, etc). Just the bit with Tracy Morgan’s Professor X and his constantly-upgraded wheelchair still works for me.

This was just covered on Tim Harford’s “Cautionary Tales” podcast (along with similar corporate promotional goofs). One of the things he noted was how those prizes would have been life-altering for families scraping by and unable to afford things like college educations and mortgages.

No questions about his relationship to Ego the Living Planet?

Don’t forget the all-too-often-overlooked Vanessa Bayer; the Naughty Christmas Elves were great, in an extremely creepy way.

I admit it: I clicked through at least partially because I was wondering what the hell had happened to Damon and if he’d been hacked.

Everyone’s so upset at them, but clearly, this is the first time in their lives they’ve ever encountered racism, and they’re just shocked -- shocked, I tell you -- that it could exist!
