I recently went back to try GW2 after years of absence, and it looks like they’ve done absolutely nothing in all these years to address the shortcomings of the engine; the game’s graphics-engine was and still is hogging a single CPU-core to the max, barely touching any other cores, and the single core it’s hogging

Nothing. I am not stupid enough to fall for this mass-induced hysteria about spending money on stuff I wouldn’t have otherwise bought.

That’s what I thought. I have over 200 stimpaks and I haven’t even been trying to not use them — I just don’t see what the author is on about, those things are everywhere.

More importantly, why pay for a season pass before you even know what you’ll be getting with it? Just look at the crap Arkham Knight has been giving the people who bought the season pass — none of it worth the asking price.

I have trouble finding good comics that have an actual story-arc — with a start and an end. All these Marvels and DC Comics and what-have-you are designed to basically run forever and that puts a lot of restraints on what the writers can actually do with the story, plus it makes them all the more predictable, too,

“does that small change really matter?” — Yes, yes it does.

I do not care about whatever excuses the devs may have, I do *NOT* like playing at <60FPS, period. Unless the game is mostly static visually I can easily tell if it is or isn’t running anywhere near 60FPS and I do find it very much off-putting to play the game at all then. I avoid games that have framerate-locks as

But what if *I* am the significant other who doesn’t play GTA V? I’m confused by the criteria here. Are you looking for people who aren’t generally interested in games or specifically looking for people who don’t read Kotaku or what?

That logic still fails. The bananas are already wrapped in plastic when they're in transit as it's the *whole damn container they are in* that gets wrapped. There is no need for wrapping them individually or in small bunches. Also, bananas being thrown away is not problem-waste since they degrade rapidly and can be
