Tom,

Basically, it's when people do the peace out sign. Since it is a two finger gesture, people also refer to it as deuces.

Now why do you have to go and play the Yuna card?

And now the Drowned God won't shut up and is chain smoking.

Having been homeless a few times, he got involved with this cause and has been doing this event for about a decade. It's a good cause and I highly recommend people contributing to it.

Was this at a former Big East school, by chance?

So are people not allowed to use terms that are hijacked by Nazis? If so, I'm hoping that Nazis hijack the following words:

Nah, man. He did a double play action, but got blown up by an invisible defensive end. That's all on the offensive line.

Of course they do. There was never another athlete like him at Maryland. He was a legend. He was a physical specimen in his era on the level of what Lebron is now.

I'll always wonder what might have been. Look at that elevation on the J.

Nice call on this. You were so right.

LOL....well played.

That uniform is amazing.

You don't see the football team in honors program lectures drunkenly jeering the kid giving a presentation who hesitates and stutters when he forgets a bullet point about poliheuristic theory or cellular biology.

I'd throw Ocean City in with the boonies. They still have a lot of that good ole boy local thing there. Sorry to hear about your experience. I'm glad that you caught the guy...you make me proud to be an alum. He'll think twice the next time he acts like a fool.

I would argue that a lot of those communities, despite living together, are still rather insular. You have a lot of different people living there, but they aren't necessarily talking. Somewhere else in this thread I used the example of MS 13. That gang has a huge presence in the DC area, but you rarely ever hear

I know what you're saying. You could argue that Howard and parts of Montgomery County are actually diverse. When I grew up in PG, it was majority black and there were a few white kids...not much else to speak of. The Hispanic communities are somewhat isolated in northern MoCo, if I recall. That separate community

These are all good points. Not to mention, we did host the Texas Western-Kentucky game at Cole Field House. I know that wasn't really Maryland's doing, but the university is still very proud to be tied to such an important moment in college sports.
