Because they want him to act honored that he played for them. Making him repay the money was fine. Expecting him to be happy about it is stupid.

I think we’re gonna need a bigger belt.

It’s not Klay’s contract, it’s a provision in the CBA that applies to everybody.

Jesus, that sound, man. It's like something out of a kung fu movie.

“Bullshit?” Did we watch the same race? Luis Saez almost took the whole field and then where would we be? You be screaming “HORSES DIE SO ONE PERCENT RICH ASSHOLES CAN GET THEIR KICKS.”

So this is a legit question — it would be more “aesthetically pleasing” to you if they hedged/closed out more lazily and gave up more open shots defensively and/or jacked up more contested shots early in the shot clock offensively?

This take is so tired and lazy.

Iron Mike Sharpe, who was apparently nursing some kind of forearm injury at the time”

I saw him wrestle live. Tom Magee against Iron Mike Sharpe, who was apparently nursing some kind of forearm injury at the time. All I remember is Magee’s backbreaker finisher, what would happen if you set up a guy for an atomic drop, then just held him on your shoulder until he quit.

“I don’t know what kind of business you’re in, but I tell ya what, if I was a head of a newspaper, and you didn’t do your job, you’d be held accountable.”

Even other intense coaches don’t do anything like this. Rick Barnes and Bruce Pearl for instance are able to chew their players out without making them feel physically threatened. There's a line you don't cross.

It’s a strong justification. As we all know, dunks are missed constantly, but layups always go in.

Izzo has no right to yell at the STUDENT - athlete I mean the NCAA needs to stand up for the STUDENT if that is how they are going to label and (not) pay them. If a professor pulled that, or like you said boss, I’d be out of there and on national TV. This  is verbal abuse..............

It’s too bad Izzo never got the chance to coach Latrell Spreewell.

Oh, well, that explains everything.
