I really don't get the scary eyes criticism I've seen in this thread. Like, he just came off as the coolest dad ever when I watched the series. Am I too trusting?

Not a douche but maybe slightly oblivious to why he isn't god's gift to the world.
Hell, Wolfgang (at least so far) is a complete worse person than the fiance by every conceivable metric. Violent, anger prone, a thief, a "monster" etc. It's actually an interesting contrast since he's in the role the audience is normally supposed to be rooting for. I'm not.. Kala can do better than both.

Did the internet just become a nostalgia machine at some point?
Same. That's really the only way the scene makes sense given Capheus very mild nature. There seemed to be some adrenaline overlay between both feeling out of control of their lives and feeding the energy back and forth, but especially strong from Sun to him.
Or allowed Maester Cressan, the man who raised him, to die cruelly by his black magic witch.
TJ Miller has always been hilarious, but this season he's killing it so hard they might actually have had to put him in the shop for a few days.
That's very true. Just remember the bar is as much about trying to psych you out as it is about what you know. Know your MBE subjects inside and out and essay only subjects well enough to use them creatively and flexibly if they give you a curveball question. Shit, can't believe it's been 4 years since I took the bar.
Agree, would make most sense for all parties under the principles of equity. Plus would be hilarious to see Elrich dealing with the fact that Hooli owns 10% of the company now too.
Yup, arbitrators have an amazing amount of leeway in their judgements. Even more than judges since most can't be appealed.
Being technically right is the best kind of right.
What part of "being seized in your own castle" and marching through the fucking north in the middle of fucking winter" is so difficult for people making this stupid argument to grasp?
Aka in a mainstream viewer way. Dark City is quite good, but I saw it after it was recommended to me by the video store guy post-Matrix and could easily see why Martix became one of the biggest films of the era and Dark City didn't.
Does he have a blog? I'm kind of sort of interested in his Oceans Eleven analysis.
"A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away" is the best opening line in a movie ever. Bam, you're there and you're all in as an audience member.
Does anyone know why Sean Bean was part bee? I watched it on a plane and was in and out of consciousness and still don't know if it was relevant in anyway.
I lost it when the giant aliens showed up in lower middle class Chicago to slowly kidnap her 10,000 Russian relatives. I mean.. what the fuck.
They're the brothers, now post-trans surgery siblings, who made The Martix, one of the new seminal mainstream movies of the last 25 years. Of course everyone is always going to talk about them if given the option.
