I liked how West Wing put it (paraphrased)
"How can we justify charging so much for a pill that costs seven cents to make?"
"The second pill cost seven cents. The first pill cost 400 million."

Thus the time-honored high school pick-up line, "Hey, wanna commit a couple misdemeanors?"
Largely due to the recast. If Ed Norton had stayed as Banner, that would be a different story.
A valid concern. Though I would say that while there are so many characters, they've already had a ton of development groundwork laid. So they can hit the ground running from the get-go.
I was actually thrilled to see that The Defenders is going to be eight episodes.
His character is awash in privilege, and that's the point. He feels he has right to both the legacy from somewhere else because he earned it, as well as the legacy of Rand because that's his birthright. That's loaded with privilege.
I will argue this:
I kind of like how much of Danny's fighting feels effortless. Like, yeah, I can knock down these security mooks without even expending extra thought.
Also, of all the leads, Kristen is probably the strongest actor.
I watched the firs episode, and while intrigued, I haven't been all "MUST WATCH THE NEXT ONES!"
Or the ones where one person heard two people talking in the next room and presumed they were talking about sex, but it was really something innocuous like preparing melons.
It's more the sense that Heinz has achieved the level of brand-to-product connection that transcends mere loyalty. Just as not all copiers are Xeroxes, but everyone knows what you mean when you use "xerox" as a verb. Or how "Kleenex", despite being a brand, is often used as a synonym for "tissue".
Dijon or GTFO.
And that push-up.
The one thing that makes this just COMEDY GOLD is this clearly happened in, like, the five seconds the wife looked away to deal with something else. As soon as she realized what was happening she RAN LIKE A MOTHERFUCKER to extract them.
On Earth-19, the 4th Amigo was John Ritter. It's a bit odd.
I think it works if you presume that Jack's sorcerer grandfather is some kind of mad genius type a la Rick & Morty. "Yeah, it was a cursed resurrection to make him a flesh-eating zombie, but I fiddled around and added a bit where tiny people constantly appear in his stomach so he's never hungry."
Yeah. I also had more of a growth amble.
Part of the problem is the show is kind of vague what kind of publication CatCo actually is. I thought it was more of a Vanity Fair kind of magazine— combining high-gloss-fluff with deep-dive journalism. For Snapper to call it "the paper of record" was kind of surprising. I didn't even think it was a newspaper.
Doesn't John also see Hans when he kills Takagi? I mean, John's hiding, but he sees what's going on.
