This will go nicely with my collection of spores, molds, and fungus.

Some things to consider:

Speaking of reproductive capability. Is Banner’s problem with “getting excited” in The Incredible Hulk considered MCU canon? If that was the point of comparison when for Natasha to bring up her sterilization, then that wouldn’t be bad.

“I can’t get it up without risking a Hulk-out!”

“Agh, that sucks. I’m sterile.

Yeah, I expected the monster thing to be about her killing, like, hundreds of people. That woulda made sense.

“I can’t have babies. I’m just like you!”

“Natasha...I turn into a giant green monster and destroy everything if I lose my temper. How the hell does that even compare?”

Not only is the comparison insulting from a meta standpoint, but it’s insulting to Bruce Banner within the story. It’s multi-layered assholery.

As a woman who has chose to not have children, I disagree. It would have made her a more whole character if motherhood was something she just didn’t want. Not every woman is defined by the functionality of one set of her organs. I also find men speaking to the subject to be a little specious, IMO.

I remember watching that moment where she went ‘I’m a monster too’ and laughed out loud in the cinema. It was such a forced load of crap to have as a reason for a connection with the Banner. Also for such a feminist it seemed strange how as the film went on it seemed Whedon had Black Widow’s zipper on her catsuit get

Whedon has said that his plan for Natasha in the film was more central, but that when Johansson got pregnant, a lot of it had to go. Im wondering how different it was? Maybe changing things up at the last minute led to certain elements not being thought through?

There was no “red ledger reveal” that we were promised. Period.

Right hand, left hand.

I wondered why Falcon didn't participate in the Final Battle. He's at Tony's party, and then he just kinda shows up at the very end of the movie like "I'm an Avenger now, yay!"

There was an interview with Kevin Feige where he said that the gauntlet Thanos retrieved wasn’t the one in Asgard. There are two in the MCU.

I kept looking for him, waiting, but never saw him. Just War Machine. If he was there-and I really don’t think he was-they bungled it horribly. You can’t just throw him in the background.

I suspect Thor’s little sidequest (which I also assume was mostly there to set up Thor: Ragnarok) suffered the most in the cutting room.

There’s a lot of things that bugged me about this movie (I still enjoyed it, but wow does it have some flaws), but if we’re on the subject of cameos... Why was Stellan Skarsgard in this movie?

It’s like pizza. If you pile all the toppings from a 14 inch onto a 9 inch, it’s going to be overloaded, not cook properly, and feel not quite done. Put the toppings from a 14 inch on a 14 inch? Perfection.

Is it me or Johnny Weir and Loki are the same person:

What this movie needs is precisely more room to breathe. It’s not confusing or muddled, and making it longer wouldn’t muddle it - it just would really benefit from a pacing adjustment; it’s slightly too breakneck. I don’t even think Loki will be added in the extended cut if they're smart. We don't need more

We didn’t want it to feel overstuffed.
