Alicia's initial question to Will was: Are we defining sex differently here? Leads me to believe it was oral sex or something short of penetrative sex. So in any case Will is continuing the tradition of lawyers parsing the hell out of language to get out of a scrape ( a la Bill Clinton and his "It depends on what the

This moral superiority complex is exactly why I am annoyed by Alicia . She isn't and she gets down in the muck just like everyone else on TGW. She is not as practiced as Diane and Will. But apparently, she has learned well enough based on what she is doing.

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner 2. Imagine David Lee at Thanksgiving with Veronica. David fawning over Peter, Jackie with her boytoy and Alicia knocking back the wine while Zach and Grace look on with their normal vapid expressions.

Ok yes I remember thanks for the reminder.

Strangely, I can deal with more Lee. But I think Elsbeth's brilliance is highlighted by the very tiny doses. Even though Preston is fantastic I really hope she doesn't become a series regular when TrueBlood ends.

Yes but she said "liked" her all around the office. She could parse the hell out of that a la Clinton.

Ok. I totally missed that. What was her case about?

How is it libel? Everyone at the firm knows Kalinda is "flexible".

I'm keeping a tally of colorful ways to describe Kalinda. Last week, we had her as Magical Bisexual Discoverer of Evidence. Any others?

Deus Lez Machina!

Has anyone noticed how there are more 4th years coming out of the woodwork every week? This bothers me. We never saw the Indian guy before. Also what was up with Sonia Sohn's character? Is she supposed to be a 4th year too- if so she is another stupid one.

My impression was that Kalinda lied. But you never know.

Another great episode as I was on the edge of my seat. It was a great showcase for Christine Baranski's awesome acting skill. How she is able to have regret, pride, sadness and anger in one look as she contemplates her old office? I don't know how she does it!

Yes I have rabbit ears too. But I also have an internet connection and I get my cable viewing needs met that way. With an HDMI cable I am set and I can watch on the comfort of my couch and in front of my flatscreen.

I agree. Its like a Hitchcock movie that builds the anticipation before it gets really creepy. This is the calm building up to the storm. The tension is driving me crazy but I love it.

Also what if a cable channel like FX picked it up if CBS cancelled? Didnt that happen to Southland or some other show? Eight or 9 million viewers is what Breaking Bad had for its series finale after all. So its not great for network TV but its amazing for cable viewership.

My hope is that Alicia veers away from the Hillary strategy and assumes the role of Elizabeth Urquhart in the BBC version of House of Cards. ( I dont know if the Netflix version is faithful to the original because I think the American version is painful and its taking me forever to hatewatch it)

Yes I am pretty sure that this is the plot point they will use when Alicia gets sued by L/G.

But I think there were more first year spots when Alicia and Cary joined. Otherwise, where do you think this cohort of fourth years came from? I think what happened was that there was one spot which was Cary's but then Alicia needed a job. Will fought for her to be added and I think the compromise was that Alicia and

I second pityrules here. I dont want the kids to broaden the universe of the show. I only care about them when they provide insight into Alicia's character.
