ATC is done via voice as it is time sensitive. Proximity warnings are done via GPWS, TCAS, and Radar altimeters. Also time sensitive. Any aircraft “adjustments” need to be done solely by the pilots on board the aircraft.

There aint no way I would let maintenance or an AI “tweak” my plane in flight.
Other than finding crashed planes, why have the telemetry?
I haven’t seen any of those. Which aircraft use composite fan blades?
That plane did shed blades. Big, honking fan blades, not turbine blades. The whole fan, which produces the majority of the thrust, came off the engine. That is a huge hunk of metal.
Killdozer.
It will be either 1/6 or 4/6 of a cube.
“Can we not have accountability for oneself anymore?”
Say what? I don’t know what you’re smoking, but you need to stop and get some fresh air.
1. The WHCA is an association more akin to a HOA or a union than to a government mandated permit. Also, it only covers White House correspondents, not all journalists, as it says in the title. Oh, yeah... it isn’t government mandated.
Oh, yeah. You’re right. So when will we start licensing and registering journalists? Where do I apply for a permit to complain about my government?
I never said the government has come for my guns. I said the fear that some people have of the government controlling their cars is similar to the fear that some people have of the government coming for their guns. Everyone loves the government when the government is on their side. As soon as the sides change,…
I don’t see how the courts saying, “You have a right to travel on public roadways, after you jump through all these hoops” is a right. Do we have to jump through hoops prior to using our right to free speech? Or prior to choosing to go to church? Do we need a license to be secure in our properties and possessions? …
The devil is in the details. How many regulations and hurdles are needed before a right becomes a privilege?
Let me clarify... “a licensed driver, who pays taxes...” does not guarantee your right to travel on roads. You still have to jump through any and all regulatory hoops to be allowed (or have the right, if you prefer that phrase) to drive on the public roadways.
They don’t. I was referring to the idea some people believe that “The Government” will come and take away our guns. That idea has mainly been a right-wing/conservative/republican fear, but now the idea that a government will take away a person’s possessions is starting to spread to left/liberal/democrat. I find it…
I’m afraid not. Ask the US Supreme Court about it.
No, this is like Ford offering to sell you a car with either a 23 gallon or 26 gallon fuel tank. You choose 23 gallons and then complain that other people have a 26.
Freedom to travel does not include freedom to drive on public roads. Driving is a privilege, not a right.
Welcome to the world of gun owners.
