As far as Palpatine goes, yes, you’re totally right. Palpatine was a shadowy figure without much story that got retread with an origin story covering three movies and seven seasons of a TV show and then got retread again 40+ years after his original appearance. There doesn’t need to be anything more there.

Every year or two, I come back to No Man’s Sky and play it for about 20-30 hours. I really enjoy myself for that time, and it is indeed relaxing, but I just sort of lose interest. I really love that game, even though this has been my experience, and I would recommend checking it out for anyone who thinks they might be…

This feels like purely punishment - like making things worse for the sake of it. They made the distance tweak for Covid, and guess what - it made the game markedly more enjoyable! Other bonuses like remote raid bonus damage, I can kind of understand, but the added spin distance removal is egregious.

She really deserved better writing. I feel like she’s had massive missed potential. Maybe the upcoming episodes will fix that.
