It’s impossible to overstate how MASSIVE the Hot Coffee controversy was at the time. It’s unbelievable that they left the code in these remasters, but understandable that Rockstar felt it had no choice but to pull the game until it is removed.

This is all proof that, from their inception, through the early days, getting big off someone else’s creation with extremely troubling portrayals of humans, to now taking down mods and even pulling the original versions of cult classics from sale, all to make their rereleases seem more palatable, Rockstar never…
lmao get fucked.
You really can’t turn this around into ‘perhaps it is u who are petty’ - the guy gleefully harassed and targeted minorities, and much of his anguish was that his website matured (to a degree) while he didn’t. The Something Awful website bankrolled his entire lifestyle even as he grifted and complained server costs…
I saw a tiktok complaining about the ability displayed in gameplay footage and I was so confused because I never look at footage for how competent the person is.
Think one of the reasons Gamers (TM) get so mad about reviewers making comparisons because they assign the most cynical possible motives to every reviewer. Always the silliest, most negative assumptions - like that the reviewer only knows Persona and not any other JRPG series rather than Persona being the (obvious!!!)…
I think the game most responsible for the hit to WoW’s numbers is WoW itself.
You can’t blame your public perception for lack of sales if you aren’t selling anything.
“I want you to hear from me personally that I have made the decision to step away from co-leading Blizzard Entertainment and will transition to a new position before departing ABK at the end of the year,” Oneal wrote today. “I am doing this not because I am without hope for Blizzard, quite the opposite—I’m inspired…
If that piece of shit cared one iota for personal responsibility, he’d lock himself in jail and throw away the key. Unfortunately he’s a complete piece of shit without a shred of self-awareness.
Hmm.
Capital G gamers: "Spam is good if the video game companies says its good!"
This is an understarred comment
“Remove from cart” * 200,000.
They designed one fucking game in a distant past and have been reskinning it for years.
My least favorite part of the Ubisoft formula is all the sexual harassment.
Feel like that’s kind of a big detail to leave out in a review. I’m assuming it was omitted b/c ppl are dubious of mobile-to-console ports? Did I miss it? I re-read the review and only saw how it pays homage to Octopath and BD2, which now makes less sense seeing how it predates both. Maybe it pays homage to Lost…
Well it IS a reworked mobile game, Zodiac: Orcanon Odyssey from 2015. Came out 3 years before Octopath too. Zodiac was abandoned and incomplete, while Astria has been reworked, more content added, and the story has been changed
“Think of the jobs” isn’t really an argument, because by that logic it’s unethical to not buy every game.
I can’t seem to find a clip of Steve Martin introducing him as “Stingy” on SNL, but I still always read Sting’s name in that voice/pronunciation.
