Zero dollars. It will cost me zero dollars, because fuck Blizzard Activision. Shitty company, shitty business practices, shitty all around.

I’m done with buying consoles at launch, so in truth, a delay doesn’t trouble me one way or the other. But, yeah, I’ve been thinking about this for a while now.

Some of us won’t forget. I won’t be buying another Blizzard Activision game any time soon, and if there’s a game so good that it demands my attention, well, that’s what the used market is for I guess.

This is the Chinese government’s MO. It’s not enough to censor media in China -- they demand censorship across the globe. Shame on Activision for once again caving to tyrants to make a few more bucks.

I used to be a physical-only purist, and I still try to buy physical when I can — mainly because of the ownership question. But I’ve become more flexible in the last few years. Losing your shelf space to make room for two kids and all their furniture and baby toys will do that, I guess.

Don’t worry. Dragaux is always there for you.

Sure sound like we’re getting a sequel to Lair.

I hope there’s a subplot where Jade exposes how Ubisoft covered for decades of sexual and physical abuse in the company’s ranks.

Doesn’t matter how many times you prove that argument, how many times you bring up the savings associated with digital distribution, or how an always-on internet means constant access to micro transaction money and constant ad revenue streams in games that support ads.

Joker’s awakening in the game had this Go Nagai vibe — fluid animation, bloody and punk as hell. The anime-series version of the exact same thing looked like some bog standard Anime Nonsense.

Will the animation style still be less dynamic and less interesting than the in-game cut-scenes?

So, that Streets of Rage — is it streets ahead, or streets behind?

Bigs Bunny was what it was called in Canada, right?

It’s on sale for $6.99 right now. I’m tempted, but I have quite the Metroidvania backlog already.

It’d be great if getting one didn’t cost a paycheck.

I’m sure the discourse on this will be a delight as the night progresses.

You seem like a fellow We Hate Movies listener.

I watched that Lindsay Ellis video. She does some of the best film criticism I’ve seen in years.

Those Ewoks were absolutely going to eat the heroes in Return of the Jedi before Threepio saved them.

Any word on how the Metro games play on Switch?
