Eh... I found Inquisition to be incredibly bland and boring. The story and combat system were so lackluster I kept waiting for the real game to start. How was the bad guy supposed to be imposing or threatening when you just spend 80 hours kicking his ass over and over? Inquisition had no soul.
Inquisition had Sera, Blackwall, Dorian and Iron Bull. Their writing was fantastic.
there’s no reason to be scared of the raids. but being antisocial can be a problem. The raids are among the most fun events in Destiny. you should definately give it a try.

It’s a matter of finding the right people. Most of the people I know on LIVE aren’t real-life friends. But we’ve gotten to know each other pretty well through Destiny and recognize our strengths and weaknesses.
