I told my wife when I replaced the CVT in our ‘11 Quest that if the VQ35 ever goes in our van I’d like to replace it with an LS-engine. I’m not exactly sure how it could be done, but maybe a 4T65E could be modified to work with it?

Problem is they ain’t really all that cheap.
I went to the Little Dipper School. Almost fell of the edge a couple of times, very dangerous for us kids.
I’d buy one in cash today if Mitsu brought it here!
Absolutely nothing wrong with a Quest Sir Torch, with 260hp in tap and ours at almost 220k. This Mitsu however would be an excellent replacement for our most daily of daily drivers, our beloved ‘11 Quest.
Our family van, a 2011 Quest SV is well in its way to 300k, now at 220k. The CVT went at 160k hard miles and we replaced it and with the high mileage comes the low dollar value, BUT value is more than just dollars as soon it will be used by my teenage daughter who practically grew up in the thing and to replace it…
I owned a ‘66 Toro in ‘92. Stupid young version of me didn’t really know what I had and the car I acquired for $300 I sold for $100 a few months later.
Nah. Figure out your range mileage with the trip meter and a gas gauge becomes unnecessary.
Definitely worth the few grand more compared to a Sportster in any style. And looks modern to boot.
I owned a ‘97 model back in the day. A little underpowered but the neatest thing about it is of course the trunk and a little Easter egg that will appear when the exhaust muffler baffle comes loose inside ... it’ll sound identical a old-school Beetle.
How difficult would it be to do paint repair. I know I’m a killjoy but damn that looks like it be very much close to impossible to repaint.
Fuel cell hydrogen based cars will be the future. Just as hybrids like the Prius etc slowly aid in the conversion, fueling a H-based car is a reality that can be achieved with <5 minute refueling and actually be safer than gasoline stations at that fillup. It’ll take more time to get it right but that’s where we are…
We love our 2018 so much we might just get another.
The slow demise that TTAC is experiencing is due to write ups like this one.
“No, they aren’t...”
Rear seat heat provided by exhaust system. Stock.
Yep. My $30k ‘11 Quest doesn’t have auto headlamps but my bargain ‘18 Journey SE does, go figure.
My ‘11 Quest is all made in Japan. At over 230k it is running and driving beautifully.
They do but only Dodge makes it. The Dodge Journey. Seats seven and is not all that bad. I picked up my ‘18 brand new for $15k.
Weed smoking at the pumps?
