Yeah it's strange I'm not even a big Halo fan, I consider the series and fans very boring. It's a simple game, maybe that's why I want it? It's not got the emotion or depth of something like Half Life and any attempts at depth come off as cliched and, as I said before, boring.

I just don't want to invest that time into a show any more. I've had enough of that with US-type shows being protracted. 24 burned me out and I lost all mental capacity for such epic things. I like my shows a lot shorter now.

Whilst I don't miss Snake (I got a free copy from my contacts at NoE), I do miss his levels and music. His level on brawl was one of my favourites; it's difficult to get smash out to the sides and there's no drop so you get crazy high damage. Makes it tense.
