I mean it's not just them. I guess the big one is Call of Duty. Why is it £15 for 5 maps? Why are Season Passes so much for other games (when in most cases the content is ready when the game goes GM - I'm a dev and see it happen way too much).

Forza is one example. There are lots of modern games that are technically shorter than their previous versions or have content removed (one I'm playing at the moment is the new Worms game. Everything is removed from the old games and sold back).

This. This isn't Forza where the content is made before hand. This is 6-9 month later awesomeness. Mario Kart games cost full price and you get 8 cups and loads of characters. MK8 added the most. On top of that we can get additional content? That's EXACTLY what DLC should be.
