I'm not a big fan of coffee, I'm not one of those people that need caffeine in the morning. The matter of fact is, in recent history it has been illegal. They're not arbitrarily making something inoffensive, accepted and popular illegal overnight.

Nothing fucked up about banning dangerous substances like that. Just because you like them doesn't make them good.

Exactly. It's a mind-altering substance with links to mental issues. Just because people like it and put it up on a pedestal doesn't make it a good thing to do.

But it is taking drugs. It's considered a recreational drug and is still illegal in most developed countries. Why are you trying to dress it up as something more noble than what it is: engaging in something recreational to get you through the day. People look down on heavy drinkers, why not heavy smokers?

I agree. I like alcohol once every couple of weeks, I couldn't do that in the Middle East or some places in the US without jumping through hoops.
