There are some gross people out there. Would it truly be a shame if all of them just disappeared?

Not at all. Everyone knows the lesser value of TAS compared to normal speedruns. And here is another example. Only if he/she pulled it off themselves would be genuinely impressive and not just some manchild desire to reach a goal.

They are, actually. Or were when I last saw them at Christmas. I'm not making fun of them, well maybe, it's sad that they're putting in all this effort into nothing. They could be learning proper 3D which they obviously must have a base knowledge in to be able to create this and export it into Minecraft.

But this isn't. This is making something within a game, is all. Replicable. Zero value.

Are emotions a problem for you?

Another crazy comparison. Picasso created art, these people are making levels for a piece of software. Art is open. If they created it on an easel it might have some value, but this doesn't.

Huh, a what. No I see a gross lack of skill when users load up 3DS Max and pass it off as something made within a game's engine. Like, who are they trying to impress?

I'm afraid I do. It's oddly put together. It's a high example of something being sad.

I agree though. There is no point if you're just going to transfer 3D models over.

I think you're right.

Then it's a waste and they need to stick with the modelling tools used to lay the foundation. There's no point in downgrading it.

No it wouldn't. I know what tools are available. Your comparison is laughable.

If I wanted to yes, I can operate 3D programs, I've worked as a freelance/contract 3D environment artist on AAA and indie titles. I'd rather put my free time to better uses.

That's pretty much what I just said.

Yup and it absolutely cheapens it. As I said to another user, it's entering a MS Paint competition by pasting something you made in Photoshop into it.

Nope, fraid not.

So? It doesn't matter, it's like having a MS Paint competition but all you've done is drawn something in Photoshop and pasted it in with a few pixels redrawn so it fits within the rules. Once you realise that all skill, all awe is instantly shed.

No swoosh at all. The original comment sucked.

Wait what, 1 change in 6 years is a lot?

I can't really get excited over something made in a 3D program like that and then converted to Minecraft. It just reduces the value down, you know.
