You don’t seem to understand that people living in different places have different priorities. It’s why a purely democratic society with a giant city and a small town is going to leave the people in the small town constantly disappointed with their representation.
They don’t need to help them, they just need to ignore you when you try to tell them to go oppress people.
Military bases all being in those same rural areas, it’s sort of cute that you think they’ll go out and oppress their neighbors on your entitled behalf.
I’m just saying that if you want smaller states to give up political power, do you think larger states should give up financial or cultural power? Move some Hollywood studios to the midwest? Shift some investment banks into the south? Should Apple or Alphabet move to West Virginia?
Yeah, California and New York are just suffering under the yoke of those Wyoming aristocrats ;)
