I have a friend who was in Afganistan for two years, he calls all his fellow Marines who where with him brother. I think there is a way to say it and in a certain context that isn’t bad.

No one will even touch that comment unfortunatly MCB. :(
I have a friend who relishes in being negative and makes herself a victim of everything one can possibly be a victim of. If you listened to her and took her seriously, you would think she is the poorest poor thing that has ever walked the earth. So yes, there are people who for whatever reason want to be seen as a…
10000% trash.
I’m the same.....I don’t get this ICON status she’s stamped with. Her music is fun, she’s funny, seems like a great person and I love watching any interview she’s in. But can we pull back a little on making her the greatest thing ever? The media has put so much pressure on her and is completely setting her up for the…
When were were kids, my dad would take us to Disney all the time, it was his favorite place to go. He passed away almost two years ago, we took our kids last year and it’s just not the same without him....I miss his jokes that he made every single year about the cost of stuff....for instance every year at least once…
LOL my girls are 14 and 15 and I miss it too.
I totally agree. To say it was played for laughs is really out of context and not correct.
Exactly! He turned a very simple, straightforward answer into a moronic essay.
There is a huge different in having respect for a culture and enjoying the things that it brings into this world, and taking something significant about that culture and reducing it to a fashion statement, or trying to use it in a stereotypical way.
I think your idiot co-worker has made you think way too much about this topic.
I don’t know if people who do it are actually racist, (because a true racist would probably avoid it at all cost, haha) I kinda think they’re just a little dumb.
I’m dying, because the one girl I know who does it is a Buti Yoga instructor, who we think is addicted to spray tans. So maybe in her head she thinks it’s just what color she is? IDK, either way, it’s just so, so stupid.
I’m a photographer and I specialize in family photos and kids. I have taken thousands upon thousands of family shots. I can tell you almost exactly what went on, because it happens all the time. I’m sorry, this is the honest truth, but when this happens, it’s always the dad’s fault. 100%. I have never had a photo…
Dressing up as a “black person” is not a costume, that’s the issue. There are characters out there that anyone regardless can pull off because they are over the top, like Nikki Minaj for instance. She wears crazy costumes and wigs. You can be her but it has zero to do with her being “black” as part of the costume.
I think Steven Spielberg has seen it, considering he directed it.
The younger generation is really killing it these day. Although raising teenagers in this social media obsessed age is tough (I have two teen girls) the huge positive out of all of it that they they will take no bullshit and speak up against backwards adults. I can see it in my kids—it’s hard to balance sometimes…
He routinely donates tons and tons of money to charities around the San Fran area, and donated $75 million to the hospital. Politics aside, he and his wife are extremely charitable.
I hope he wins, and wins big. It should set a precedent about just throwing stuff out there publicly without proof. This isn’t gossip around a table, this is like screaming fire and pointing at someone in a giant crowd who you think is to blame. It’s dangerous.
No, he threatened to kill her family multiple times. A friend of a friend was doing security for her when she’s here—I live not too far from her house in RI—and for most of 2016 she was in fear for her and her family’s life.
