No, he's always sucked. He's a lousy storyteller and all he does is draw pin-up poses with lots of bad hatching that's more noodling than real artwork.
Fans who didn't know the difference thought is was great artwork and made him a success which I can never figure out unless selling his soul to the devil was involved.
I worked there for two summers from '81-'82. Great times but lousy pay.
