Ok to the drivers who inevitably come over from Jalopnik just to hate on lane splitting:

I think the fact that large cities are large because millions of people live there goes against your assertion that most people don’t live in large cities...

I have a doctor friend who literally said this to me the other day. “Why the hell would you buy an M3 or a RS4 when you can get an S-class or Aston Martin for the same money?”

Unfortunately some people don’t understand that concept and will have themselves convinced the car won’t turn.

The Jumble-tastic badge system is a $9,999 option. They would have made it an even $10,000 but then you could jumble it to $00,001.

In fact, it’ll only be $13,500 more, for a total price of $61,370, giving you access to a flat-plane crankshaft V8 and carbon fiber wheels.

Is there a Part II coming? Because it’s kind of silly that they tested it on NOT the terrain it was meant for...?

Also, this was 2009, there were WAY less Ducs on the road, so it was more of a rare site then.

I disagree. Enthusiasts like any other drivers with a budget will drive less if fuel prices are significantly higher.

People use gas to get to non-mandatory places for entertainment, too. It’s called the movie theater, or a road trip, or a hike, or a billion other places. If you’re young, poor, and gas prices drop it’s not only feasible but likely you would be willing to drive more in your entertainment time than you were when your

I’m really glad to hear that.. we don’t need these companies to over-expand again only to have to kill them all off (or sell) a few years later.. I’m looking at you Ford (Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin, Mazda, Volvo, Mercury) and GM (Pontiac, Saturn, Hummer, Saab, Oldsmobile)

Checking lane stray detection? Or some kind of autopilot system.
