So what's the deal with the musical act never being mentioned in these reviews?

I read the book last year and was skeptical that the movie would be anything but an incoherent mess, what with the dubious casting choices and difficult narrative structure, but I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed this film and how well I think it works. Despite its weighty themes, the film never felt

Sam, I hope you realize that your argument here is built on the shaky ground of presumption and speculation based on Hollywood gossip. Unless Spacey has personally talked to you about it or you have some sort of biological gaydar, I don't see how you can justify your assertions.

I'm betting Tasha Robinson's personal list is bound to have much more animation on it.

This. M Night Shymalan has fallen out of favor for good reason, and The Sixth Sense looks more and more like a fluke from a one trick pony with each successive movie, but that doesn't take away from the fact that it remains a pretty great film and a cultural sensation that was well-constructed, well-acted, scary,

I'm with you @avclub-edd6a7e04e7f4dd932a5c44f282f9b4e:disqus Everyone rags on Resurrection when Alien 3 is by far the worst film in the franchise. It's a total fucking bore, and unforgivably squanders a beautiful setup from Aliens. Alien Resurrection is really odd and certainly flawed, but far more interesting to

Get a grip, guy. Nowhere in this writeup does it say that the final episodes will air in the summer of 2013, just that we have to wait until 2013. But even if we do, Breaking Bad is hardly the type of show where we get a "whole lot of nothing" for extended periods. One of my favorite aspects of the show is the

My Fatter Evangeline Lilly is indeed Grayson. @avclub-8802e9d4bfe0710333f1fffc87c018e7:disqus you can have Picnic Ham with Eyes if I can take Kundun.

heh, just Gail's tits, which were on prominent display earlier this season. Some classy synecdoche, I know.

That's actually just how we've been referring to her in my household for half a season now. There was also Fatter Evangeline Lilly ( who I was rooting for), Stupid Hair Smush Face, and Gail's Tits among others.

ugh, and so the Picnic Ham with Eyes makes it to the finale versus Paul. Well at least it's Paul because if the high-strung blonde had made it through instead, I don't think I would have bothered tuning into the finale as they've been my two most hated for a while now.
Bad season or worst season? I really think it
