Whether I'm supposed to be on her side or not doesn't change the fact that I find her entirely unpleasant to the detriment of the show. She could be a little less of a caricature.

The Dunphy family would be the best thing about the show if Claire wasn't such a shrill harpy all the time. She and Mitchell are by far the most grating characters on the show.
I actually thought Gloria was the funniest one in this episode (and for once they didn't rely on her shouting for comedic effect). Her story

The episode as a whole wasn't all that funny, but every mention of Kamantha definitely elicited audible laughter from me. Also Cheryl Hines' elation at seeing the stripper pole.

I hate that still. Batman shouldn't smile, but if he does it shouldn't look so goofy and shit-eating.

I see the pitch for this. It's like Die Hard in Russia! Funny how the series went from epitomizing an action film in a confined setting to being an action film set in the biggest country in the world.

How do we feel about technology making older movies look more beautiful? I recently watched Apocalypse Now on Blu-ray and damn, if it doesn't look like that movie could have been made yesterday. Other standouts I've watched that have been significantly cleaned up and now look outstanding include Blade Runner, Taxi

Good observation about Tony learning, Todd. This is another episode in which Tony's intuitive perception of how other people see him leads him to make a drastic, but smart call. A few episodes ago, Tony noticed Maserone's comment about his weight, and in this episode he noticed Feech not laughing at his terrible joke.

I thought Suburgatory took place in Long Island. Either way, it does feel more like California.

I only started watching hockey a couple of years ago with a roommate who is a big San Jose Sharks fan and damn if it didn't grow on me instantly. It's a really fun sport to watch, maybe my second favorite now. There's much more nuance and strategy than you think is possible. I had previously dismissed it because I

Will Forte will always get a pass in my book for his vocal performance as Abe Lincoln in Clone High. The voice work on that series was excellent all around, but in Forte's case, it's the best work he's ever done.

I had forgotten how funny the sex scenes are in that movie. I laughed harder at the noises Forte makes than anything else in the film.

I bought the Blu-ray. I sortof want the film to be playing on my tv at all times as a beautiful screensaver, so that I enter a state of rapture every time I walk into my living room.

Well according to Wikipedia, "The onion (Allium cepa), also known as the bulb onion, common onion and garden onion,[citation needed] is the most widely cultivated species of the genus Allium."

Forster was nominated for an academy award for Jackie Brown the year that Robin Williams won for Good Will Hunting. Williams was fine, but Forster was a fucking revelation. It's too bad Jackie Brown is underrated amidst all the flash in Tarantino's filmography. It's one of his best.

Yeah, I'm also confused. It seems like someone forgot to post his opening paragraph.

Am I the only one who thinks this looks awfully generic from that trailer? Granted, I'm not an Avengers fan, so I guess I'm not the target audience, but this just looks like the standard superhero stuff we've been getting for a while.
Whatever, I'll just sit back and twiddle my thumbs and let this all pass until Dark

Hell yeah! I Loved Fast 5. It's dumb blockbuster entertainment done right. I mean, the action is so ludicrous, but really shot well. It was the best popcorn movie I've seen in awhile and certainly this year after the weak summer.

Great Show!
