Ja Rule had an annoying voice
See how fun it is for you, Mr. Rule when the prisoners ask you to Back that Ass Up.

@tristiac

er, close out not lose out.

Black Swan
I saw Black Swan this weekend. It's instantly in my top 3 for 2010. It was terrific, only the second (after Toy Story 3) of my highly anticipated movies this year I wasn't somewhat underwhelmed by (I'm looking at you Inception, Social Network, and Scott Pilgrim). It was really visceral stuff; nobody can

That was the worst season finale since season 3. It was so thoroughly mediocre and moreover incredibly frustrating because once again the series pushes the reset button. There was so much potential in a relationship with Lumen (did not buy her motivation for leaving at all) or in Deb actually catching Dexter, or in

T. Hodler
So I was just reading the comments over at comics comics and man, that T. Hodler comes off as a total dick. Keith's professionalism stands in stark contrast to the bitter amateurism. Might be the first time I've seen commenters acting more mature than the writer of the post.

weird pic
He looks like a robot, an android in the vein of Jude Law in AI.

The level of discourse on the AV Club is generally much higher than elsewhere on the internet. Even the commenters with no class can be fairly clever.

Damnit Pierce. That apology is as well-written as your articles.

I'm an athiest and this episode was excellent.

The criticism is the same thing Lost always gets, but it really worked in this episode. I love that it tied in thematically. Good stuff.

I believe this is the third piece of Todd VanDerWerff''s writing that has made me tear up a little. He's got a gift. In the very very specific niche of writing tv reviews.

Binary Solo!

oh good
This matters. It was definitely worth the time and effort that Crist put into it. I'm sure there's nothing else that really needs to be done in Florida anyway. This is important.

Ha! that was definitely a typo. but the brainfart kind, not the mistyping kind.
Professor cuntburglar, I shake my fists at you.

What happened to Tracee was sad, but the stronger feeling I'm always left with after this episode is a revulsion for Ralph Cifaretto. This is when he truly becomes a monster, and certainly one of the most villainous characters ever to appear on the show. Every moment with him after this is is colored by his actions in

magic xylophone
The Godfather comes up all the time on the show, but does Goodfellas? I can't remember, but Chris and Dr. Melfi look an awful lot like characters in those films.

Ha! That won't over way better than I expected. I thought I was making the obvious groan-inducing comment.

The prequel should have been called
