probably, but they would've been much bigger rocks!

Takens
in which 2 of his daughters get kidnapped! Oh snap.

Hmm
I can get behind this. Is the Riddler the only villain in the Nolanverse that makes sense at this point?

agreed.

And of course, plenty of "Threequels"
The Godfather Part III
Alien 3
Back to the Future 3
Spiderman 3
Return of the Jedi (not entirely, but a lot of the post Jabba stuff on Endor)
The Matrix Revolutions
Pirate of the Caribbean 3 (also 2)
etc etc.

wow and by "phone," I meant "material." That's nowhere close. hmm.

Also that "Spielbergesque" last act was all Kubrick FYI. In his original treatment and everything. He felt that the phone would be best handled by Spielberg, who actually added a lot of the darker more "Kubrickian" touches, afterwards.

Shutter Island
What you said about Vanilla Sky, Christopher Mincher, could be said about Shutter Island. That last act really goes off the rails, and the film becomes overloaded and overbearing, but not in a fun Cape Fear kinda way.

Iron Man, also AI is great
The first 2/3rds of Iron Man are awesome. The climax is incredibly boring and nonsensical.

How is no one on the West Coast? Everyone is far away.

Tragically ludicrous not ludicrously tragic and I had dinner in San Francisco. It was great!

I think a lot of not hot really old people are still internet holdouts. So we don't have them bringing down our ranks. Score 1 for us.

Hey! Fancy meeting all of you first 4 commenters here!

uh, most people from Argentina are pretty white actually.

Setting
I grew up in NYC and spent a great deal of time in NJ. One of my favorite things about The Sopranos is it definitely has a firm sense of it's setting. It is not a series that could take place anywhere, even if it's themes can be applied to the country as a whole, and the North Jersey presented is so authentic,
