Seriously though
Only Sir David Attenborough should be allowed to narrate these things.

Who's the girl on that cover?
She looks familiar.

So the woman he grew up with, who he was going to LA to finally meet after years of looking for her before the plane crashed, who he started working for Ben killing people for after her tragic death, who we see him pining for in the sideways world vs a spoiled rich beach bunny who he knew for a few weeks?
My money's

word. Courtney Love, Courtney Michelle, same difference. Both are just synonyms for the same thing: Unnecessary.

Stupid Trend
Alice in Wonderland and now the Wizard of Oz. What other beloved children's books are going to receive the new "more dark and complex" Hollywood treatment?

No.
No.

Save the environment
hmm, so Cameron has focused his environmental messages on the rainforest and the oceans. What should he campaign for next? I'm gonna go with Avatar 3: The ForEverglades of Pandora. Or maybe Avatar 3: Stop cutting down trees…on Pandora.

Cinematic Savior
Aww, James Cameron really cares about my soul and the environment and making me a better person and stuff. Avatar 2: Oceans of Love will be a triumph of the heart. In 3D!!

Omg, the Jenny Jones show
I'd forgotten that existed. I don't think I've heard or thought anything about it since 1995. Taking it waaaaay back, Amelie.

The Last Recruit
So does the title of the episode refer to Jack? Cause NotLocke doesn't actually seem to have recruited him. He's only "with" NotLocke in the sense that they are actually physically with each other.
Also NotLocke seems far more interested in Jack than any of the other candidates at this point. He

eh, Sawyer's pop culture savvy sure, but Anakin only became a prominent figure when episode 1 came out in 1999, and I'm betting Sawyer skipped that shit. Good for him.

Nah, everything that Locke ever was Jack is becoming. I don't see Locke coming back because he is unneeded. His great contribution was imparting important lessons to Jack, and now Jack is ready to listen to what the island needs.

Actually DaveG according to Time magazine, Sacramento is the most diverse city. And the most diverse county is Queens in NYC, so I'm betting that's also got LA beat.
Anyway, my original post was sort of the easy joke to make, and it was just that. But from personal experience, I'd say it isn't too far off from the

Time for the sappy episode
Ted has to be one of the most whiney characters on television. His "why me?!" shtick is just so tiring at this point. "Oh boohoo, I'm a successful architect/professor who constantly sleeps with beautiful women and can afford an awesome place in a trendy neighborhood in Manhattan, but I don't

She's right about LA
The weather does add to that fake sense. Also the people.

ugh, the after work of Lost actors is going to be as depressing as that of The Wire actors.

Now's as good a time as any
to reference Troy McClure in Planet of the Apes: The Musical.

Sigh
I know it's silly to feel this sad about the end of a tv show, but Lost is gonna leave a serious void. It's not that I think it's the best show ever. It's just, without a doubt, the funnest time I've ever had with the medium of television.

Great series
That's great Todd, but I wish you had highlighted episodes beyond the super famous ones in the Next Steps section. More than 150 episodes and you went with the ones everyone's heard of.

Oh good!
If Michael Bay is focusing on this, it means he's not focusing on making any more shitty movies, right? Right?
