A renamed Mazda2 hatch offered with no manual? What a slap in the dick :(

I use the Northeast Regional to get to the NY auto show every year. It takes about 3.5 hours to make the trip, but I’d much rather doze off while listening to a podcast than deal with MA/CT/NY traffic.

Icy what you did there B)

Having one Subaru for practicality and another Subaru for having fun gets old after a while. I want one car that’ll do it all. That would be the Levorg with a manual.

I’d still like to see Jalonik feature some sort of podcast, video or interview with John Davis, maybe with his son Ben as well. Pretty please?

I started acquiring old Subaru sales brochures soon after I bought my SVX. You forgot to mention the smell! Have you ever smelled a mint ‘90s sales brochure? They even SMELL period correct!

Meh, wake me up when the Levorg hops across the pond. In the mean time, my mom can’t wait to see the new Outback!

Been for sale for so long I feel like it’s been posted on NP/CP once before.

From a styling standpoint I think it slots nicely above the Toyota 86. Tbh though I’m more interested in what they’ll come up with to slot below the 86.

The yellow one. I need to see the yellow one. Yellow. YELLOW.

I’m just praising the lord that another RWD sports car from a major automaker is coming to the market. I don’t care what it looks like (though I find the new Supra quite nice; I think it’ll look better in person,) it’s not another crossover or SUV and that’s the important thing!

Hell, I’d just like to see color return to our roadways again. Blues, reds, greens...When I was on the train traveling down to the NY auto show last April, it was pretty depressing passing by highways and parking lots full of black, white, silver and grey cars. That's why I chose orange when I bought my Crosstrek.

I have always wanted to know more about the Bubble Era, and you have delivered 100%! Between this story about Amati, and Ryan’s reporting on the Goodyear fiasco, Jalopnik has produced a fantastic year’s worth of quality pieces, and everyone at Jalopnik has much to be proud of! Bravo everyone!

I miss my WRX wagon very badly. If I had known Subaru was going to ditch the WRX 5-door of ANY kind, I would’ve kept it.

Vehicles aren’t people Raph ;)

First thing I thought of lol

That gif will never get old.

Good to have you back Andrew! I’ve missed seeing your spirited articles as I work my way down the Jalopnik main page.

Finally available with all wheel drive?? Yaasss I just found my next car :D

I used to be about the latest and greatest. But then cars started coming with more and more intrusive safety features. And bigger. And more infotainment focused. I gradually started gravitating back to the cars of my youth; the 80s and 90s. Older, yes. Less safe, yes, but also lighter, simpler, more analog, more involv
