Agreed. People are going to lean on and abuse this technology despite it’s shortcomings. So until we can get every vehicle to Level 5, these crashes are going to continue to happen. Automakers have enough on their plates trying to get us to stay in our lanes, look when backing up and keep us from crashing into the

A month ago I called my local Home Depot explaining that I’d like to return a defective Ryobi cordless pole saw, and replace it with a new one if possible. I was told to swing by with the saw, box, instructions battery etc and go to the tool rental department, so I did.

Those damn sea lions man, you just never know!

Probably thrown in a box and put up in the attic, along with a bunch of other hopes and dreams.

Same!

As a ‘13 BRZ owner, I concur with much of what you said. Interior quality? Cheap. The stereo? Shitty. NVH? Well I came from a ‘13 Honda Fit so I thought the interior was quiet by comparison...until I upgraded the exhaust. Now, yes, conversing with a passenger on the highway takes some shouting. Power? In a straight

I wouldn’t mind one bit if sawblade wheels made a comeback.

Good man! *Thumbs up*

I know right? Sounds like a cop-out to me.

Just got back from the show late last night and I have to say, I like the new Corolla hatch quite a bit and have high hopes for it. The white one on the floor felt comfortable to sit in with decent visibility, and space in the boot good also. My biggest concern with the car however, was that no one was really looking

Jalopnik still needs to get together with John Davis at some point. Travis’ quick run-in with him at one of the auto shows a few years ago was not enough!

I think wagons in general will see an uptick in value as time goes by. You know...since we didn’t get any compared to the rest of the world *mumble grumble*

A lot of my friends think I’m odd because they love muscle cars, yet I get excited when I see a sporty JDM coupe from the 90's. Don’t get me wrong muscle cars are great, but like you said....poof. :(

I was hoping Raph would present a chart. The southern accent made up for that though.

To his defense, when the economy crashed, a lot car makers shifted resources accordingly in order to not take too much of a hit financially. The world will never know how potentially good a front-engine, rear-drive V10-powered NSX could have been. :(

Nope doesn’t need a teaser. I’m more interested in what days the Jalopnik staff will be at the show! Last year I walked around Ballaban’s Yugo but didn’t get to see anyone...probably because I went on a week-day. *Sigh*

How do they lay out the “rooms” in a capsule hotel? Is it set up like enclosed bunk beds with people right on top of or next to one another and just separated by some sort of thin wall/spacing they put up between each room? Also, assuming one is not under the influence, how good of a night sleep can you get at a

I loved this episode. Until I saw how banged up those two beautiful JDM machines were after the “tandem drift” race...thing. That rained on the parade a little bit. But I agree, I dig the direction they are going in here. The presenter’s awe, curiosity and exploration of these different car cultures is a refreshing

I never held much stock in what that UK exec said. Especially after a report last year that Subaru’s performance models will keep their manuals.

The manual gearbox argument wins.
