The scary part about following the gaze of other drivers is that often times, they’ll be looking right at you, but there’s nobody home upstairs so to speak. I would recommend teaching new drivers many of the skills they teach new motorcycle riders; look far down the road, trust nobody at intersections, don’t pass in

I cringe when I see the Monster Girls during pre-race and in Victory lane. No offense to them personally, but their presence doesn’t belong in Nascar, at least dressed like that. Put on some fire suits or sleeveless flannel shirts or something. What they wear now doesn’t work for a family-oriented sport like Nascar.

It’s beautiful. And classy, something I was not expecting upon first reading the headline.

So much awesomeness and beauty packed into one article. More posts from Japan please!

This is an awesome new trend and I hope to heck it takes off!

Nobody’s made a move on that Suzuki Vitara yet?? O_O

Love articles like this that give us all a look into the thought processes of various aspects of car design/engineering/marketing etc. Darby is a badass ma’am for sure, I see her being the next Mary Barra someday! It’s so awesome that there’s a Jalop doing car design, in a time where the industry is in dire need of

One of the most New England pictures I’ve seen in a while.

I’m glad I don’t have to do homework anymore because I am going to set aside some nerd-time to read the shit out of that article.

This would be ideal. It does sound like Tom Doll at least feels that there is demand for the BRZ and a place for it in the Subaru lineup. Plus we have Toyota’s awesome CEO on our side.

It isn’t going to happen. It just isn’t.

I have a ‘13 and yeah the radio is garbage, streaming Pandora is hit and miss, the speakers are tinny, the plastics are pretty cheap and earlier ones had quirky quality issues...but my God it is a fun car to drive. You nailed why this car is awesome, it just wants you to have fun and wring it’s neck.

Well that sucks:(

Back when I had my ‘03 WRX I upgraded to a thicker rear sway back and aluminum end links and poly sway bar bushings front rear. I was amazed at the difference, the car became much more neutral in the corners and turn in response was greatly improved also. Body roll decreased as well to top it off. I miss that car...

Thank you sooo much for posting this! I’ve been wanting to hunker down and watch Group 1 racing for a while and this is fantastic footage. I was lol-ing at the battle up front with the Mini, that was super. I can’t imagine what seeing a race like this in person must have been like, back in the 70's and 80's. So much

Cars are like dogs; they don’t really know the difference between sex, religion, race, sexual orientation, etc. They just want to be loved, played with, and cared for. And it’s extremely disappointing that these biases and pretensions  seep their way into the enthusiast community.

This is one of the best project articles I have read in a long time. Being a product of the 90's myself, these cars have always fascinated me, and the level of detail, both in writing and in pictures, has been captivating. You’re skill and abilities to make both mechanical and cosmetic repairs earns my respect 100%.

I like the orange. The dealership I work at is mostly a sea of black, white, silver, gray. I don’t really mind if there aren’t any legit performance upgrades included, the car is fun out of the box and the mod possibilities are wicked. The world needs more cars colored in something besides neutrals.

Will Ballaban’s Yugo baby?

While this would be just peachy, I’m still crossing my fingers for the SF-R to reach production.....it probably won’t, especially with gas being as cheap as it is, but it looks like a riot to rip around at full throttle everywhere :D
