Been a Nintendo fan boy all my life but I skipped Wii U because of how unportable the controller looked. The Switch peaked my interest simply for it’s all-in-one mentality and the generous extra controller (even if it is far too tiny and taking the extender on and off is such a 1st-world annoyance).

On Switch: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and maybe finish the last Divine Beast in BotW (would rather go shrine hunting than finish the game).

Fiance got it for my birthday today. Played one match this morning and was thinking “Wow, I’m connected and this is actually working.” After that my attempts were met with the same Communication Error popup and the game freezing.

Damn, I wish my 7-year old self would have played this.
