RE: Which item is most likely to be made out of necessity (too much of an item, ingredient spoilage, etc.)?

I’m a fairly adventurous eater and recently on a trip to Mexico ate escamoles (ant larvae). I had a lot of different foods on the trip and it was far and away the best thing I ate there. They look and taste kinda like cooked white beans. If you’re going to try a bug dish in Mexico, I’d go with that.

I’m not sure why exactly, but I always pictured Banksy as being Black British. The reveal is a bit of a letdown.

I don’t think you can really go wrong with any of Pink Floyd’s albums, even The Final Cut has some good tracks on it. I skip the albums after Waters left though.

I came here to say this too. If it’s broccoli or some other green, you gotta eat that before the main meat. The likelihood that I’ll finish some good-for-me vegetable after I’ve already feasted on steak is next to zero.

Minor quibble: Dragonslayer is an LP, not an EP. Also, that entire album is awesome. Also, Spencer Krug can do no wrong.

NPR’s Planet Money podcast did an episode a while back on the guy behind resurrecting the Hydrox brand. It was more interesting than it probably had any right to be.
