While I certainly think that any level of unwanted touching is too much, I too thought it was a bit of a stretch to make that storyline more relevant than it has been this whole time.

Taylor also could have shot Peter. It's a character we know better than Wes, and even though he was a little shit (until last episode? I'm still not sure what I think about his scene last night), he clearly wouldn't have deserved being shot. It would have been a moment where Eric's actions at the party would have had

This was the first episode that I honestly did not like. Nothing in it feels earned. It at least feels like they're heading for a finale (some things are somewhat resolved, while other issues are brought up in a manner that demands answers and a resolution), but so much of what happens here derails the better aspects

Late, so very late to this party, but I live in America and nothing good happens here. I'm finally watching this show, and this season, and I have to say, Arnold's supposed desire for an open relationship broke my heart.

I was wondering if her baby would be stillborn, but she seems like she's about ready to go into labor any day now and I don't know enough about how often or how likely it is that someone that far along would still have a miscarriage. So I didn't want to speculate, but we'll see.

I'm not sure how to respond to the points about Taylor being tried as an adult. On the one hand, I think AC did that just to add drama and suspense to the story. I think they're doing a great job at shining lights, as even you point out, but this is one of the moments that felt more like typical TV sensationalism than

The idea that Abby being a heroic voice of reason somehow being surprising to you makes me wonder what show you've been watching. Abby's been great and strong pretty much since day one. That or I'm forgetting and overlooking a lot of her past character development.

Eve's absence from these flashbacks is 100% what makes me think we haven't got enough to be able to say that Wes killed his mom. She's got to be involved in this case somehow. She knows who Wes is; when they were together and talking about him, Annalise said "It's him" and that was all the info Eve needed to put the

That dog won't hunt, Fiona and the gang had the same father and they aren't all horrible.

I also think you're focusing too much on the "as always" having to mean he's offering an alternative to sex and relationships. If he feels as though he's been a good father and has always been there for his kids with this one rape accusation and subsequent outing being the only outstanding evidence of his good

I certainly think your reasoning is sound, and you make compelling points based on solid evidence. But isn't it just as likely that, as a parent, he isn't thinking about his kid's sex life at all? He doesn't want to think about his kid's sexual needs and urges, and he isn't comfortable with the gay thing so he even

I thought that about the shooting last episode. School shootings is a topic worthy of a full season of exploration on its own. Attempting to add it into the mix here reeks of too many ingredients in the soup.

I can't claim to agree with the point that she's one of the reasons Taylor is where he is. Or maybe I can, but only with the caveat that she's a very very small reason.

I find Anne's actions problematic, sure, but I do not see her as tilting at windmills at all. She's not listening to her son, she's not really taking into consideration what he wants because she's already determined what he needs, but she's not inventing slights where none exist. Which is I think what is implied by

I don't find him sympathetic in the slightest. But as for the question of what he knows, as of last night, I'm guessing he had less to do with what happened to Taylor than I originally assumed. I think he supplied the alcohol and the drugs to the party, I think some amount of those drugs were used on some of the girls

You're so right that those sympathies are there. They have to be or else I'd lose all faith in humanity. but you do have to remember that some part of the lawyer's job is to prove that laws were broken more so than that this one kid had it really really hard.

There's also the possibility that no one drugged Taylor but that Taylor picked up a cup intended for one of the girls at the party which had already been drugged. It's possible that Kevin and Eric's chat last night was about the drugs and who/what they were actually intended for.

Oh man, there's so much here that I like and agree with and one thing I think you're missing.

I think the point here is mostly that the lawyer doesn't seem at all interested in even trying to mount a defense and work as an advocate for her client. I don't think you're wrong that she doesn't have much to work with and it feels insurmountable. And I think it would be wrong to give Anne a lawyer that didn't even

With you so much on all of this! I too am hoping (though I have to admit my expectations are low) that the Marshall story goes somewhere. And I too am hoping for a big sweeping moment in the end where Eric comes forward and his confession about everything he knows somehow saves Taylor.
