Ford could have tempted me if they didn’t have the disaster of DCT with the Fiesta and Focus.  I was close on the first gen Focus, but life threw me a curveball that got me out of the new car shopping plan.   When I started shopping again, I considered a Focus, but nothing but problems with that DCT really drove me…

Bought a new car in 2018 - considered a Focus, liked Hyundai’s Elantra GT more so I bought that instead - in the market for a second car for my spouse right now. And we’re not looking at the crap Ford’s selling.

The simplest way for Ford to get my money would be to make a car I want to buy. But they cancelled all those in an attempt to sell EcoSports, so I’m not in danger of buying a Ford any time soon.

The only bad news here is the possibility that Kia keeps the “Imagine” nameplate for the new model, and the fact that it will indeed be another electric crossover.
