You definitely sound like someone I want to buy a car from. And by “buy a car from” I mean “punch in the nuts”.

lol

Fuck off. I hate being in car dealerships. I hate negotiating; not because I’m a pussy but because I hate the lies and “I gotta talk to my manager” garbage. I don’t have the patience for it. I generally hate the bullshit car sales people spew. I guarantee I know more about the car I want to buy than the sales guy

And your arrogant attitude is EXACTLY why people hate dealers.

I still have not gotten use to how a dealer will shamelessly lie to me in the dealership. Like, not a fib, or an exaggeration, or even a half-truth. Just a flat out lie.

“Negotiate like a man”? A real man’s got actual responsibilities and precious little time to shoot the shit with the likes of you.

What does it benefit a dealer to send an itemized quote via email?

Coming into the dealership is why people go online. No one has all damn day to “negotiate like a man” at 7 dealerships to get the price they are looking for. A test drive plus dealing with a sales manager and getting a 4square sheet made is 1 to 1.5 hours minimum. If i can send an email and get a good price without

So, I imagine you have a pretty handy list of dealers who are good to work with and those who aren’t. And I imagine a lot of us here probably have some experience with a few dealers in our areas. We should create a site (or a portion of this site) that is like ratemyprofessor but for dealers. And they could be rated

Thats when you email back and say that you can’t come in to get a price quote on privacy concerns. Once they have seen your face they know who you are and can leverage that information to their advantage and that you aren’t falling for their ruse.

Time to get past the I need a manual gear box or I’m not a true car enthusiast, when all the top hypercars have abandoned the manual gear box for something more machine controlled it’s time to let it go.

“Wow. My first instinct is to agree with Autoblog’s “we have a hard time believing him on that point” statement, because I myself cannot imagine why fans of a cult-classic like the Supra wouldn’t want to row through their own gears. It is a sports car, after all.”

I’ve always heard that the Sony OLEDs have major input delay problems for gaming. And that the LGs are the way to go in that regard (and Digital Foundry backed that up in their own analysis). So no thanks Sony!

Yielding?

I took a look at the A5, soon as I saw the cheap ass ipad glued to the center dash I walked away. Hate that look with a passion on any car.

Don’t worry, I’m certain the dealership sold another 5 Stingers within 1 week of you leaving the store. That sales person just wanted to tease you a bit more.

if you’re spending $47k on a sporty sedan and you’d choose the Model 3 we need an intervention.

1. As this is based on the Genesis sedan platform, which has been selling in the US since 2015, I’d say they will hold up pretty well. More than 50K miles of hard driving on my Genesis sedan, and it’s doing very well.

The interior is nice. The exterior looks a lot like a Honda Accord.
