Great episode. Fine review. Yes, it was an A, maybe an A+. From finding her pretty annoying and ridiculous in Season one, I am totally on Team Valerie now. You go girl! She was kicking butts and taking names last night and I love, loved, loved it. Hello, hello, hello!

I know. It's marvelous to watch expressions flicker across her face when she's debating something.

There's a wonderful scene in Episodes where "Matt LeBlanc" (played by Matt Leblanc) says to Andrew Leslie that he doesn't want to "eat their shit," referring to the Network Execs. Andrew replies "Come on. First you eat their shit and then when the show's a big hit, they have to eat yours. It's called SHOW BUSINESS!!"

Valerie DOES live in this world, I'm pretty sure, so yes, a show called Friends exists. The New York Times exists. Seth Rogan exists. All in this fictional-real world.

Fantastic show. So funny and smart. I watch it every night and know many episodes of Episodes almost by heart.

Episodes is hands-down, the smartest, funniest show ever. Well, on a par with The Comeback for sure. Name me another 1/2 hour comedy that uses phrases like "obsequious mewling" and "You have no self-awareness!"

I loved the reference to Matt LeBlanc because Episodes is my favorite show EVER, and he's fantastic on it. The fact they he and Kudrow were both on Friends had less to do with this reference than the fact that on Episodes, Matt is playing a character version of Matt.

I tried watching this last night, and it wasn't for me— I don't have enough patience for mysterious doings that go on and on. I thought I'd read your spoilers paragraph to "skip to the end," But even that was incomprehensible. Which is fine. Torture and murder are even less my thing than almost endless mystery. I

Difference between The Comeback and Entourage— Comeback revolved around a woman, Entourage, a bunch of bros. Duh.

*smiles* always.

As a teenager! Who doesn't do crazy things as a teenager. I give her a pass for that.

I will admit to being the only fan of her show. It was a guilty pleasure while it lasted. At first I didn't like it that much, then I watched her stand up and then I "got" her. And she's pretty.

It definitely takes some effort on the part of the viewer, but it's worth it, once you are hooked. I was lucky that I had foot surgery recently and nothing better to do while I lay around than watch and re-watch this show.

HBO has made some steaming piles. But anyway, Seeing Red is being made by fictional HBO, not real HBO, so there's that. If you're really hating this season that much I suggest you watch some of the other shows that you may like better.

Maybe! Cuz season 2's been great so far in my book.

She's not 40! She just has one of those mature-woman faces. And she's beautiful!

That is entirely too broad. Here in the good old US of A, we're not allowed to say Oriental anymore, we have to say Asian, but mean Oriental when we say Asian.

I totally disagree. He is not a douche. You are the douche, sir!

"Just kiss me and let's get this over with." So many great lines.

I feel like Enlightened was satisfyingly ended, even though I wish they'd make 10 more seasons. But Deadwood was left hanging and could use a finale, for sure. When Al killed a perfectly innocent substitute prostitute, there would have been real repercussions to that, I think, had the show continued. I'm a little
