Last time I checked no one is going to fly to Azerberfuckholejon to watch a race either.

As a Texan I’d rather not have the state money pay for a race that I’m priced out of and put on by organizers that don’t care if i’m in the stands or not, all while being in a overcrowded city that’s chomping at the bit to fleece me. You reap what you sow.

This post is seriously distressing. I realize that many of us are americans, where we feel the need to put up a sign of warning in front of cliffs so people don't accidentally leap to their deaths, but in my opinion this post goes against everything DIY culture stands for (if it stands for anything, I suppose).
