Exactly what my wife and I do if we aren’t flying up front where it’s free(yea! First Class upgrades!). One half of each of our ziplocs are single serving booze. Rum, vodka, etc. It’s less that 1/4 the price of buying on board. I’ve never once been asked about it by a flight attendant and I used to do over 100K miles

I’ve been tempted more than once to take my wife’s Mk6 Golf R out there. I just need someone to help be wash all the dirt off afterwards before she finds out. Stef, if I do go out there I’m drafting you to help. :)

Another from my youth growing up in the 70s. Cajon Speedway outside San Diego. We’d go about twice a month all through summer. I can still taste those $0.25 lollipops they sold at the concession stand.

One of my favorites in Central Texas was Texas Thunder in Kileen. You won’t find its ghost as it’s been pissed on. 2 years ago it was bulldozed under and turned into a fucking Walmart. Fuck you, Walmart. If you look at the area 10 years ago you’ll see there were no major subdivisions nearby. Then people decided to

Hold on, Kairu! I bereeve in you!

That’s how you become the middle member of a Human Centipad. He’s gonna regret that.

That’s not fair to those of us stuck behind enemy lines in Trumpland. Will those States that are leaving the US/joining Canada have favorable emigration policies for refugees from Red States?

I may or may not have been around when more than one wrecked vehicle has been limped/dragged/pushed to the nearest street and as far away from the off pavement adventures that wrecked it.

Perfect! Well done. Oscar material, I say!

Better, but not quite. Can you shed a single tear while typing it next time?

Close. Try again, this time with a bit more feeling.

PCars1 is fun with an Oculus and FF Wheel. Looking at this trailer though, I don’t see anything that says “I gotta have it”. There’s one thing that would make it a ‘must buy’, the addition of CotA. I saw no hints of that in the trailer so I don’t see a need to buy it at this time.

I de-escalate however is appropriate. Move over, slow down, make a turn I didn’t plan. Whatever it takes to lose them. Sometimes, rarely, the answer is to use the extra HP I have to out run them. Getting into a fight over some perceived slight on the road is just stupid. Even if they were 110% in the wrong and all I

So tacky but I love them. Comfy too. I really need to put on the #9 plates and take a pic with my friend’s GT-40 Continuation.

Am I faster if my shoes have heritage racing stripes? Actually, I don’t care, I love these things.

Love my Classic. It’s more like an abusive relationship but I still love it. It’s a rare-ish 1 of 400 Great Divide Edition. Motor has been updated from a 3.9 to a cammed 4.2.
Pic is of it towing my old Defender. I came to a point where I decided I needed to make a choice to keep the Defender or the Classic. I kept the

The Speed City Broadcast podcast had a contest. I forgot I entered and 2 days before the race I got a call. That year at CotA a few people got to play honorary pit crew. I was lucky enough to get Mike Shank’s team. Ok, I had an easy job and didn’t go over the wall but I got to hang out in their garage all weekend and

He really is. I was just an honorary pit crew member for a weekend. They decided to take a team photo with that amazing Justin Wilson memorial livery at CotA. I was standing off to the side and Mike waved me over and said “You’re part of the team today. Get in the picture.” That pic was on their official homepage for

Former E60 owner here. Some days I think back on all the good times I had in that car and think I should get another. Luckily, on those same days I remember how it tried to bankrupt me towards the end.

Now playing

I was lucky enough to play pit crew member for a day a couple of years ago with the Shank team when they raced Prototypes. They are a great bunch of folks and I hope they go far. I’m looking forward to meeting up with them all again when they come to CotA this year.
