I really loved GT5. For the first couple months. Then it got to a point where it became work. At some point I no longer want to 'work' at the game and try out driving that badass F1 or LeMans car they keep teasing me with in the store.

The cars I've had with HUD don't project right 'in my line of sight'. The HUD projects in front of your car below your normal line of sight and out of the way. That assumes you're not like most drivers and actually pay attention to things down the road further than the end of your own hood, of course.
