To be fair, Japan has a lot of alarming things. Their fascination with robots and tentacle porn are but two of them.

Now playing

I’ll see your Babcock and raise you a steam powered car from the 1769. I am unclear if it is road legal but if you go to a southern state I’ll bet you can get a pass.

Honestly most Teslas are not stunning. If you want to blow $120K on a P90 yes they are very quick to 60 but the garden variety not so much, and either way they drop off a cliff at the top end. They don’t even have nice seats.

Surprisingly Wilford Brimley is still alive @ 85. Electric cars are nothing new, you could buy one in the early 1900s. Elon’s claim to fame is throwing a faux-BMW body and a touchscreen at one.

It is indeed hilarious that the spokesperson railing against excess weighs 400 pounds (Michael Moore). It’s almost like he doesn’t understand irony. It is almost as hilarious as people thinking that buying brand new cars will somehow solve environmental problems.

If there was only one refuelling station in the country why on earth did they buy them to start with? Yes Hydrogen is flammable. if it wasn’t it wouldn’t make a very good fuel source.

So how do you like the Chevrolet Bolt so far?

Oh no, you picked the one state where people cannot gas up their own cars. I laugh in the general direction of your 10 minute wait.

A model S will recharge itself in about 3 days @ 120v. In a few select areas that is powered by the sun but mostly it is not.

I believe cuisine options are possible without starting unnecessary wars. Obama promised to get us out of the middle east in his first term and he totally failed to do so even by his last term.

I like comfortable seats too. I am confused how Tesla can sell 100K plus cars without them, just like I am confused why people believe they are helping the environment by buying a brand new car.

Wasn’t Obama more of a chicken and waffles man? Trump did seem very concerned about taco and burrito based foreign policy but he has yet to send my kids overseas unlike every other president since the Carter administration so there’s that.

We already have a president willing to (and who already did) roll back emission standards. Jason can promise an XJ in every pot but I’m unclear if that many even exist anymore.

You have touched on the achilles heel of all classic cars. That bite mark might not show right away but the hunger for rustoleum brown and/or human flesh will grow until it becomes overpowering

They already have, that’s a hydrogen fuel cell car. Pity their fueling network is even more laughable.

Um...”for all the crap we give Tesla”...you are their biggest fanboys. This article isn’t a rip on them, you are praising them yet again.

I honestly prefer the opposite. An engineer who cannot pirate ‘The Mandalorian” or the 45 versions of the “Lion King/Marvel*.* Disney has recently pulled from Netflix is incapable of functioning in the long term. That is easy street compared to what they have to learn daily in order to be an asset and not a liability.

Alt take: Doctors spend a lot of time learning one system that never changes. Engineers spend a lifetime learning things that change every 6 months. Neither is “better” but any doctor who thinks he is can suck a dick because he hasn’t had to learn a thing in the last 20 years and competent engineers have to keep up on

Clearly you never drove the Lincoln version of the Crown Victoria (Mark or Continental, same deal). They had their issues but those seats were awesome. Roadmaster seats were nice but these were better.

I was unable to post images at the time but yes this was totally a thing.
