Perhaps he was just eye banging it from Lacross the room?
Perhaps he was just eye banging it from Lacross the room?
Words spoken by someone who has never owned a truly crappy ‘new’ car.
It didn’t have any of the legendarily reliable drivetrain bits from Dodge, it had whatever Suzuki had laying on a shelf. That is very arguably ‘not better’.
Less deserved than the Ford Exploder (because Ford chose the absolute cheapest tires they could find as OEM tires), there was nothing really wrong with the actual vehicle.
“the minivan market in my area is not great, it seems. Unless you want a Dodge Caravan with 60,000 miles for 12k.”
A decent used minivan is in no way expensive. If you spend more than 4K on one you are doing it wrong.
Given that our regular trash ends up spending the next 100 years sitting in a pile under some plastic yes, i agree that would be better than what happens now.
“if you want a car that can move more stuff, with a kid, and be reliable and affordable, there just aren’t that many non CUV options”
So...lets wrap up, a ‘dealer car’ (not sold by a dealer, sold by craigslist) who claims “ITS ALL THERE” is our main selling point?
To be fair...they did kind of screw up many things for short term gains (not you personally, collectively by big business and the politicians beholden to it), you personally didn’t get a choice one way or the other.
Is it capable of being lighter? I agree that even a flipping Suzuki Samurai was a better off-roader (making this article moot) since this wasn’t a 4WD car. It was a FWD car with an optional AWD transaxle.
As I recall there’s plenty of progesterone in our water supplies too (birth control pills), it’s just that the FDA doesn’t acknowledge that it’s a problem even after what they’ve seen on the canary in this coalmine, frogs.
No way. Colbert is French. Half the weird things ladies have to do these days can be historically dated back to the French, the other half coming from team India...not that they were the first, just that they have the original pre-Christian codex of knowledge in this regard.
Even after all the people he killed in cold blood while working in the U.S. special forces?
So...you were agonizing over replacing old parts on an old car that weren’t broken and didn’t redo your heater hoses? Is it because they’re fairly hard to get to on that model?
If it’s got low miles I’m going to say...what 15 year old Pontiac issues? Styling aside these were one of their better cars and you can easily find them in the $3-4k range.
So...nothing about Group 4 base stock (euro-spec synthetic) vs usa spec (filtered dinosaur squeezings + additives) ?
Is it wrong that ugly thing is finally starting to grow on me? Maybe I’m just nostalgic for non-functional vents and body cladding now that Pontiac is dead and buried or maybe it’s that I’m sick of seeing yet another jellybean with doors masquerading as a 4x4.
