40K for a 2nd Gen MR2? I don’t care how low the mileage is, that is pure crack pipe. That said, yes, if it’s valuation is based on it being a zero mile car you keep it a zero mile car.

1978 Firebirds have electrical issues? There’s hardly anything electrical in them. They have electric doors and windows, a starter, an alternator, an 8 track, and that’s pretty much all the electric things they come with.

Trikes? At that point its a Ford or a Chevrolet, just with HD running gear.

Corvettes and Jeeps outperform their segment, HD bikes...don’t. Also (male) Porsche owners do indeed become Corvette owners, but only after their second divorce.

Tires and brakes aren’t the problem. Teslas are speed limited to 130 mph, AKA something you can exceed with a 5 year old Honda Civic. Yes electric cars have great acceleration but you already knew that, they also stop doing anything exciting once they get there.

“Even five year old tires generally are worse for wear than I’d like. I’m a four year guy for my everyday cars, three for ‘fun’ cars.”

Place a penny in between both terminals, if Lincoln’s head doesn’t melt you need a new battery?

Next time on “Flip that” gay (I can only assume) husband’s “house”?

Do people that drive old cars still use low beams...ever? I only ask because I never do. It has nothing to do with laziness, it’s that new car LED headlights are an ‘O’ and a conventional headlight are an ‘.’

BMW 3 series?

“You know some dude with too much time on his hands will gut it and make a zillion modifications”

The most important safety equipment is between your ears. If that happens to be an airbag, so be it.

100% agreed. Gasoline is not the issue here, it’s more about wormholes and thumbs...and also that gasoline prices are headed downward. Senor Trumpi or not, at $100/barrel oil shale becomes highly profitable. All the oil shale operations that shut down when OPEC last flooded the market will be back online just like

Not a chance in hell. If it hits $100/barrel all the oil shale operations that were unprofitable at $60-70/barrel (and shut down after OPEC tried to flood the market) will be back online in a heartbeat since all of them are quite profitable at $100/barrel.

“So, let Darwin be Darwin.”

Unless you bought a Corvette, for about 10 years the “performance engine of that era” was a 305 if you were a GM guy. That was not my point. My point point was that the Ford would soak up boost like a sponge and the GM version would not.

Michelins are fine, as are Falkens, Pirellis and Firestones. It’s not the brand it’s the model. It’s just that (in general) Michelins cost more than they should.

I’m sure it does and I’m also sure I own 10 year old tires. Fortunately the only vehicles in that category don’t even push 80 mph, let alone 180 mph

Continuing the CAFE nonsense is considered a win? The only reason those SUVs are even a real thing is because of a 2 tier emissions law. In other news, the USA is now the #2 producer of both fuel and manufactured goods. Trump won two years ago so can we please stop publicly fellating anyone who tries to stop him from

Why do you hate our freedom...to bring a medium Sprite Cola on board?
