That’s actually pretty cool.

That is some undercoating job. All my cars from the 1960s, 70's and 80's just had the standard rust based undercoating package.
That’s nothing, Corvettes of any vintage other than new have those. I believe that’s tied to the LES (lease expiration sensor) in some fashion, just like VANOS solenoids in a BMW or TPS sensors in a Nissan.
Um...does the VG30E motor not have different motor mounts in a FWD vs RWD configuration? That’s usually what kills you on those sorts of swaps.
It started even earlier than that, my 87' Corvette had that same key. I never had an issue with it though.
PUT. THAT COFFEE. DOWN. Coffee is for closers only
I too am grasping for the 2000 lb Buick this V8 was “designed for”...I guess that’s why Rover ended up with it.
That’s the spirit. Keep living the dream while sinking into poverty and eventual death since your medical insurance will be cancelled and AIDS meds by themselves cost over $1300 a month. We believe in YOU!
“I spent untold hours helping a friend fight rust on his 280Z”
As much as I would have preferred Pontiac to make the cut over Buick and Oldsmobile, Cadillac had a very long history before they became a Chevrolet with air conditioning as standard equipment.
So...we should all applaud Elon for thinking outside of the box and not sticking $0.40 worth of glovebox latches on his $45K Model 3?
“trying to inform the world on the biggest threat to the human race ever”
Agreed, I spent a couple of nights in one (well, a Mark 8, same seats) when even the no-tell motels were booked for 200+ miles. My neck wasn’t even cramped the next day.
I don’t think that would leave any room for caltrops.
