This would be absolutely sick and I am ready for it.

Haha, yeah I mean, no apologies from me on that! When a Cool Thing comes out it’s fun to turn over all the rocks. At least I think so. On top of that, this is a level of significance above most other major recent launches. There will be other cars to talk about... next week...

I do hope you realize this car is news worthy and thus on a news site.

Let me provide a counterpoint: All screens look like ass and are now unnecessary. Backup cameras should display in the rearview mirror as some GM products are now doing, and navigation graphics should appear in the DIC, a la Audi. All other functions—audio, HVAC, etc.—should go back to manual control heads with real bu

As an early Millenial, I find it fucking hilarious that you think I can afford a home, children, their college, or the numerous prescription drugs I’ll need to stay alive to be upset about such a non-issue in 40 years.

It looks like it lost lubrication in the front bearing, causing that to turn that nice fiery orange and probably melting part of the aluminum cap, allowing it to come loose.

Hi, mentally stable Apple user and healthy skeptic of Tesla here. I get a point outside the overlap, thanks.

I don’t see those as entirely mutually exclusive.

The people that have to pee PRIOR to takeoff are the psychopaths that arrive at the gate right at boarding (or LATE in my book), therefore, leaving no time to use the bathroom before boarding like a normal considerate person.

If a 737 is “dinky” you probably do not want to get on many of the planes Delta, United, American, and many others fly.

The real secret is to stop building them just before people stop buying them. Sell them all at full price and leave the public wanting more so they'll act faster when they buy your next project.

Good point! The GTI gets pretty good mileage although it does run on premium vs the golf’s regular. The big thing would be if they get rid of the sportwagen. A GTI may be tight for a family with 2 car seats and the accompanying gear but a sportwagen may fit everything.

Top speed of 35mph, for those wondering (all of us).

NP if you buy it as a future classic. If you are thinking daily driver, then this car will empty your bank account and crush your soul.

Salmon who?

I’m sorry anyone that hates on this is just a bitter hack, it might not be your thing, fine but the skill, creativity and production values are all off the charts.

It’s better than a Corvette. As, arguably, every Corvette has been when replacing the previous generation. The evolution of the automobile is a wonderful thing. Having grown up in the eighties, in what was one of the most depressing eras of performance motoring, I can’t wait.

I don’t hate it. That dead on front veiw is godawful. But the front and rear 3/4 shots show balance and decent proportions. It’s modern, but it’s not over the top with cheez.

Here. Have some eye bleach.

Yeah, I noticed that there was no mention in the procedure of any after welding rust inhibiting actions. You know, like cleaning and painting the bare metal. That would concern me if I owned one of those Jeeps.
