Which ep has the Gary Weis film that consists of silent film of reunions of friends and loved ones at an airport, set to "Homeward Bound"?  I think they showed it on two different eps, and it's probably the best film he did.

I mean he was probably cast based on his work on The Office, but Tim Canterbury isn't really the same character as Arthur Dent.  One is just beaten down by life, one is pathologically milquetoast no matter the situation.

I take it studio interference can also be blamed for the fact that his character sleeps with the French girl in the movie but not the book?

I admit to being vociferously pro-"Ford Prefect isn't American!"

Wasn't there some controversy at the time surrounding the fact that the main character in the film version of The Beach was changed from British to American and played by an American actor?

Completely forgot about Rickman.

Basically the entire cast of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, minus Sam Rockwell and Bill Nighy and Hugh Laurie.

Bart: Perfect
Lisa: Perfect
Other kid: Perfect

I think that, at the time, Opie was considered to be a lot more dangerous to the club and needed to be taken out immediately.  You can't really say the same about Clay.  Also, founding member vs. non-founding member.

I don't even know why I bothered with S3, since I knew by that point that Jax's son had survived and was returned to Jax, thanks to FX's S4 promos.

The first time I smoked pot, I was like "This is awesome!"

The one where they go to Italy.  Paulie sends back his dinner and demands macaroni and gravy.  One of the waiters says that line, in Italian (subtitled in English).

Yeah - as pointed out on TWOP when the show first aired, it's exactly the type of apartment you'd expect a guy who's spent a good chunk of his adult life in prison to have.

"Alan’s torment of the Geeks seems motivated by something deeper and
darker than simply being unable to light off some model rockets."

They seem to have settled for "hey, at least our original programming isn't as bad as TV Land's!" some time ago.

I don't recommend binge-watching Childrens Hospital.  I tried that with the first few seasons and it got old pretty quickly.

The Michael Richards one just made my feelings about Michael Richards worse.

Hey, that's the Law & Order theme song!

I've never gotten the hard sell at Chipotle on anything.  But the managers of fast-casual restaurants don't so much drink the Kool-Aid as guzzle it.  David Koechner's character in Waiting… is a representative sample.
