I think the cold open left me with a well, cold feeling. It started to address an idea and instead just went into a screed against the tsa and self checkouts. besides being the caliber of comedy found in an email forwarded from an aunt, it really trivialized torture.

I'm looking forward to this, but the books were always iffy for me. On the one hand, Quentin and friends were a great metaphor for the existential ennui caused by having limitless possibilities and the wealth and abilities to act. On the other hand, the first two books were just:

did anyone think that the description of toys playing with kids as "submitting to kids" seemed a bit weird? unsettling maybe?

they sure streamlined the process

i don't think it's zany enough to be one of those sketches so bizarre that's the joke. the maine court with the Louisiana accent had that level of WTFitude, this in my opinion did not. as for the last point, I didn't realize this was one of those skits. like the jokes and skits about cats where the joke only makes

how can it be adept physical comedy if it's not funny? just being able to make motions isn't in itself funny, even if the motions are complex and intricate. sure this is great for people studying physical comedy, but not for viewers.

I really don't get the baby CEO bit. first of all, are we supposed to imagine he's actually a baby or maybe a baby with an adult head the way we are in the skits where they play kids? the end part with his wife flirting and mentioning putting him in a bathtub suggests he's supposed to be the size of a baby and if so

they say that by 2017 no Rob Lowe will be good enough to deserve direct tv.

i remember hearing earl was too expensive for NBC to keep for its ratings. any idea what made it so expensive? The only thing that makes sense is the music rights.

there was a seinfeld one too, until julia louis dreyfus broke it with Veep (or arguably new christine).

exactly, this show seemed like the perfect bland sitcom for 40+ year olds who want new shows, but don't like the new formats seen on most networks today. wonder who will replace it, more big bang?

ah the first and last time bender's chest plate had something other than limitless storage space necessitated by the plot.

no, but xfinity's slow in adding it too. maybe it's an issue across the board.

did the time baby, especially in the last season look like he was from the regular show universe? His eyes especially.

future dangit and those were great lines.

stan looked so wonderfully bitter in his "banned" mug shot.

it was nice to see blubs and earl again even if they didn't speak, especially since they have only been in one other episode this season.

on "fishhooks" the character he plays sounds EXACTLY like Morty, it's distracting, but it's the only thing that makes the show close to palatable.

anyone else wonder if soos or the twins were coming close to accidentally opening the vending machine's secret entrance? it seemed unlikely they would, but that'd be quite the episode shift.

roiland was about to go full lemongrab before he was muted.
