That's… bizarre.

"a fully formed Sith"

Yes, but to be fair, at its height Seinfeld's presence went far beyond any of those shows you mentioned. Plus, it was in constant syndication for a longer period, and it's now available for online streaming; not to mention that Jerry Seinfeld, Larry David, and Julia Louis-Dreyfuss are still very much in the public

"Is anyone going to be this sad when Kanye kicks?"

Episode 8 already finished filming.

Not only is he Doctor Who, but he's one of the best Doctors ever and seasons 8 and 9 have been among the strongest of the entire revival series.

Interesting… I was vaguely aware of Chinatown's "secret" before I saw it (in part because I had heard the movie's plot compared to Nicholson's actual life, in which he had a similarly odd revelation about his mother's identity, so it wasn't hard to put the pieces together), but much as I prefer to stay unspoiled, I

Station to Station is brilliant! Sad as it is that Bowie's gone, its been awesome that so many people are discovering his music

How was Fear Agent? Been on my list for a while. And was your response to Chinatown positive?

I did the same! What were your favorite episodes?

The sequel is arguably even better (warning: it's COMPLETELY insane).

Haha!

Season 3 is, overall, my favorite season and that scene is definitely an all-timer. I'm re-watching the series right now and I'm already having a hard time pinning down what I would call my absolute favorite.

Yeah, it's definitely taken some time to build their catalogue, but it's aces now.

You've got some great ones ahead of you! Casino Royale, Rebel Without a Cause, Gunga Din, and the Adventures of Robin Hood in particular are among my favorites (and all of which are Canon episodes I have a tendency to re-listen to often— Brian Cogman and Matt Gourley guest in the Robin Hood and Bond episodes

To be fair, at the time of first airing "The Wire" was still staking its claim as a "novel for television" when such a thing didn't really exist. This was only like 3 years after "The Sopranos," so while it may be rather on-the-nose, the writers seemed to be intentionally going out of their way to explain to the

Absolutely. He's really just been one of those generic pop culture figures existing in my periphery for years, but when I finally delved into his music it's no wonder the "genius" label gets thrown around so often.

Woo, quite the awesome list! Are you a listener of "The Canon" by chance? Seeing a lot of titles from that podcast on there, and "Pennies from Heaven" was a red flag…

Never taken the time to get into hip hop, but I started listening to Kanye thanks to Amazon Prime and I became totally converted. I had literally never heard the song "Runaway" until about 6 months ago, and now I've listened to it probably a hundred times.

Awesome! If you get a chance, check out MovieBob's youtube video about it in his "Really That Good" series. It's really insightful.
