Batman vs Superman was only cranked out as a response to the MCU, specifically Avengers. Suicide Squad was made as a response to Guardians of the Galaxy. WB has a long and proud(?) tradition of copying Marvels successful properties. With that said I’m hoping this will be good because I also really enjoyed Batman…

If DC is only cranking out a Batman Beyond movie as an ‘answer’ to Marvel’s “Into the Spiderverse”, I don’t have a lot of faith in the project. That’s being said as someone who really enjoyed Batman Beyond.
