@MushyHeirloom: I do hate the looks of the Crosstour, but the real reason I hate it is we have it instead of this. Makes my blood boil.

@MushyHeirloom: My thoughts exactly. As long as new cars that fall into genres I don't really care about aren't an eyesore while I'm on my daily commute I don't care.

The first picture in the article is a pretty damn good reason it stayed concept. In text, gulwing and lambo engine sounds pretty good, but DAMN that thing is ugly.

@mkbruin: Formula 1 is the fastest sport of tarmac for a reason, they are designed for tarmac. It would not be pretty on dirt/gravel. I'd be surprised if the could make it to the top with just knobby's.

@Number_Six: Yes it is boring. They aren't comparable cars, its obviously just purely a marketing ploy, and a cheap one at that. The GTR vs. Porsche for example was entertaining because there was a real back and forth, and real competition. The Mini and Porsche aren't comparable in any single category, especially

@CJinSD: You don't honestly think the Mini laps Road America faster then the Porsche do you? Porsche doesn't want to take this because its bad PR for them to even be compared to a car like the mini, its not comparable in any way, Mini is the only one with anything to gain.

CO Troopers is also nice, sort of race car inspired.

I've always liked the Blue on Blue Massachusetts state police.

@GTRbrian: As have I, and it usually showed. The ride was sloppy, just about everything made noises, some pretty sketchy when we were on the interstate doing 75... Sure they may run, but maybe it would have been better if the car had just disintegrated at that point. Sort of like how I want to live until I no

When are they bringing these to the states, I would totally rock one.

"...occasionally bursts into flames" It is potentially just to make it easier for drivers engulfed in flames to escape.

@Ash78, lay them straight: I've always found that really strange. There is no consistency to who posters are, there just can't be with that many videos. Like around here you get used to what kind of posts people have, you can have a bit of back and forth. Never understood the srs bsns commentators on YouTube.

@TRAMS_AM: Come to think of it.... :)

@willyolio: Blasphemy! Let me hate the people driving these soulless cars.

@jeff-the-ffr-fan: I hear that, I wish I could commute on my bike, but unfortunately I've got a 20+minute drive right now, and a lot of that is 65+mph. Unfortunately jobs aren't all over the place right now, so I'm lucky to have a good job. Some day when I can be a bit more picky I'd like to be inside of 10 miles

@GreenN_Gold: Yea, I know there are a ton of reasons they may be at such locations, but with shallow thinking and quick conclusions it can entertain you for a couple of seconds. :)

Wow. Absolutely destroyed. Nice try Mini, maybe next time.

Pretty cool story. By far my favorite piece of the story though is just the fact that he uses his super car. I appreciate the "freedom, independence, etc" parts of the story, but it is refreshing to hear about someone using a car like that quite literally until it give up on them.
